Richard Martin
Chief Executive Officer
Richard Martin, Partner and Chief Executive Officer, has been a driving force behind the company's growth and innovation since joining in 2012. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its operational footprint and enhanced its analytical capabilities by integrating X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) technologies into its service portfolio. In addition, he led the acquisition of PerformWell Geosteering, further strengthening the company's geosteering and geological service offerings. A dedicated industry professional, Richard is an active member of the West Texas Geological Society and holds certifications in DOT HazMat, H2S, BOP, and Safeland, underscoring his commitment to safety and industry excellence.

Bruce Brasswell
VP Operations
Bruce Braswell, VP of Operations since 2005, has over 20 years of management experience in the oil & gas industry, mainly in the Permian Basin, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. He oversees daily site operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Skilled in sales, client relations, and technical support, Bruce resolves issues promptly and meets our clients needs. He is a member of the West Texas Geological Society and is DOT Hazmat, H2S, BOP, and Safeland certified.

Paul Burns
Sales Manager
Paul Burns is our Mudlogging and Geosteering sales manager, with 40 years of experience in the Permian Basin oil and gas industry. Residing in Midland, Texas, he represents our sales and operations teams and brings extensive knowledge to our company. Paul is an active WTGS member and holds certifications in DOT HazMat, H2S, BOP, and Safeland.

Christopher Varga
Chief Geosteering Manager
Christopher Varga, VP of Geosteering Operations, has an M.S. in structural geology with close to 20 years in the energy industry working for both smaller companies and 2 majors (BP and Chevron). As an analytical, energetic, and detail-oriented geoscientist with a proven track record in development, operations, and well-planning, Chris has managed multi-rig operations in multiple basins throughout North America in his career. To go along with those qualifications, Chris has advanced mapping skills including structural, net pay, seismic profiles and more. As an added value, Chris has extensive connections in the service side of our business and has over a decade of sales and negotiation experience which has parlayed some nice data trades over the years. Areas of expertise include onshore development and operations management, geosteering, regulatory, land, geology, drilling operations, reservoir and well completions.
